What I built, and what it changed.
Since 2017, I have built tools for companies in every sector. Many of those projects are covered by confidentiality agreements. Here are the ones I can describe: the starting point, what I built, and the numbers today.
Screenshots are blurred: my clients' data stays theirs.
A PIM built from scratch for a rare-items e-commerce group
The starting point
A group with two online shops, Numiscollection and Emonnaie.fr, and a client since 2017, first as a consultant. Rare items, each sold as a single unit on several marketplaces. Listings were created by hand, stock went out of sync, and the same item could sell more than once.
What I built, since 2022
- A PIM (the catalogue management tool) built from scratch, in 5 languages.
- Automatic publishing to 5 sales channels, with a price and stock per channel.
- Import of supplier files, whatever their format.
- AI-generated SEO descriptions and AI photo analysis.
- Purchase-lot management and dashboards.
What it changed
- No more overselling or duplicate content.
- A major contract won thanks to the tool: over one million euros in revenue in the first year.
- 10,000 products from a new supplier integrated during a single meeting.
Stack: Laravel, Filament, Livewire, built-in AI (laravel/ai), Horizon queues, Pest tests.
Replacing a 20-year-old after-sales system without stopping the business
The starting point
A client since 2017: consulting, then a redesign of the e-commerce site. In 2022, a 20-year-old proprietary after-sales system reached its end, surrounded by Excel files copied by hand to produce the reports.
What I built
After observing how the teams really worked:
- A back office to manage after-sales missions: cases, tracking, history, reminders.
- Three extranets, so clients, consumers and service providers follow their cases themselves.
- Spare-part orders and quotes, subcontractor invoicing.
- Synchronisation with the ERP and accounting, automatic reporting.
What it changed
- 140 hours of re-typing removed every month.
- €84,000 in costs recovered per year.
- 150,000 case notes migrated, zero crashes, and still in production today.
Stack: Laravel, Livewire, MySQL, Redis.
Two days of work per supplier file, down to one hour
The starting point
The product sourcing team received Excel files from suppliers. To know what had changed from one file to the next, they had to read everything, cross-check with lookups and copy by hand. Two days per file, endless data entry and lost data.
What I built
After observing the teams at work, in close contact with the IT department and the sales director:
- A supplier-file comparison tool that surfaces every change from one file to the next.
- Tools to read and process large volumes of data.
- Connections to their software, including their PIM.
- User testing before each release.
What it changed
- One hour per file instead of two days.
- Data-entry teams focus on data quality and writing, not on reading files and copying.
- The data-loss problem solved.
ExpatTribe, an app I designed and launched
The starting point
A lived idea: when you move abroad as a family, rebuilding a circle of friends is the real challenge. No app simply connected expat families in the same neighbourhood.
What I built
- An iPhone app: map of nearby families, family profiles, introductions, messaging.
- An AI assistant that answers questions about expat life.
- A freemium model with in-app purchases.
- The presentation website, in several languages.
Why it is here
Because it is the same work as for a client, without a safety net: a complete product, from idea to App Store release, with payments, AI and go-live. I know what it takes, because I did it for myself.
And everything I cannot show
For the other projects, my clients trusted me with their data and their processes: they remain confidential. I can still say in which areas I have built.
Recruitment and HR
For a group with several hundred agencies: automatic publishing of job adverts to specialist sites and the API behind the candidates' mobile app.
Healthcare
For a medical-training start-up: an audit of the existing system, coordination of suppliers and the artificial intelligence component of a 3D simulator.
Cybersecurity
For a security software vendor: an IT security assignment on phishing-related data.
Banking and insurance
A security and architecture audit of business software, ahead of its rebuild.
Culture
For a film platform: taking over an existing project and a back office connected to external data sources, which feeds the public site on its own.
Web agency, 12 years
Technical director of an agency with 25 developers and 5 designers: the agency's custom client projects, and its own SaaS.
Does your project look like one of these? I will tell you more in person, within what my clients allow.
A process that costs you too much?
Tell me how your teams work today. In 30 minutes, I will tell you what I would build, what I would leave alone, and whether your project could qualify for the French innovation tax credit. If I am not the right person, I will tell you.
